Art Summary Meme 2005-2010

game

Finally got around to update the art summary to include 2010 ^^;

You can switch between years by clicking the arrow in the lower right.

______________

Sorry for the huge filesize, but this also includes small flash- and video-previews of my animated work, as well as what may or may not count as "Machinima".

This consists of the years representing my art activity, 2005 - 2010, anything done before can't be compared to that. (Plus some stuff I did in '04, and some sneak peak of what still lies ahead ;))
(well, 15 years ago I drew a few YPS-magazine-based fan comics, and NO, those are just embarresing, so I won't post them)

Also, I couldn't be bothered to add links for every single month throughout the years, but I gave you the title, so you can search for it in these places:

my deviantArt account (duh) - contains all animation, drawings, photos, etc.
my Youtube account - Here you will find most of my videogame-hacking videos.
F-Zero GX: "2601 km/h" - ...and there you'll find a racing game, going at 5000 km/h.

There are several huge gasps, which are either due to university business, me working on a bigger project, or in case of 2005, nothing actually existing before the second third of the year.

Looking back, I realize I've been pretty inconsistent with improvements.
The tablet certainly was a boost for my drawing skills, and GIMP seems an interesting way of coloring. . :)

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEARS

2010: Eh... can't decide!
Mostly was pre-occupied this year to do (or finish, rather) any large projects, except the Star Wars collab with Roger, perhaps. Instead, did lots of tiny projects and some more abstract/surreal art, worked more on my new coloring techinique with GIMP, etc.

2009:
Sonic Billiard Adventure (part 1 | part 2)

2008:
Zelda: The Twilight Zone (PART 1 | PART 2)

2007:
A random Tribute to Roger van der Weide

2006:
Tough choice... though I guess I can go with F-Zero GX: "2601 km/h"

2005:
Oof, even tougher choice. Despite it's big popularity, I guess I won't go with "Super Mario 64: Who let the dogs out", but instead, with "Mario's Matrix II", since it represents a turning point in my video editing skills.

This meme was created by :iconaudreydutroux:, an empty template can be found here.
(Though it probably wasn't intended to include animation.)
