It was the Fall of 2000. I had joined Newgrounds to lend my graphic design skills to the website: I created the new tank logo, most of the fist level icons, and the older bitmap style icons that are sprinkled around the site.

Tom Fulp and I thought that a parody of "Planet of the Apes" was needed, especially because we heard Tim Burton was doing a re-make of the film. So, "HighSchool of the Apes" was born!

I didn't have much experience with Flash, so once I had finished the art stuff I tried to soak in all Tom's Flash knowledge. The result was this choose-your-own-adventure game that I hope you enjoy!
