Every Singaporean knows about this place in Katong. This is where the "Laksa Wars" have been waged for the longest time. There are several shops selling the spicy noodle soup. All claim to be the original, the first or the best. Actually most Singaporeans don't really care who was first, only which shop serves the best. Everybody has his/her own preference and it all boils down to the taste.
