Kirsten's Honey Bees Game Instructions
To make honey, a honey bee extracts nectar from flowers and takes it back to the hive. There she deposits the nectar into the hive's honeycomb and seals it up to keep it clean and safe. A bee makes 154 trips for one teaspoon of honey! To gather enough nectar for a pound of honey, a bee flies a distance equal to three trips around the world!

while gathering nectar, a honey bee's legs also collect pollen from the flowers. This is brushed off as she flies from flower to flower, helping the plant to pollinate and reproduce.

Only female bees make honey in the hive.
