large Music Meme - with music

game

Most music used herein is an excerpt loop of it's original. Some of these have been modified for smoothe listening, or just for the heck of it. :P

Gee. All that "modifying" and "making the loop run smoothe" has most likely taken much longer than the actual drawing process. X_x
Sometimes I ask myself "Why am I doing this?" ... Bleargh

Boy, is the Newgrounds audio portal overrepresented in this.
That's like... the music-site I download from the least. :O_o:

It's also a complete coincidence that there's so many Megaman remixes in this, it's not like I have a preference for that series, nor that much music of it. Heck, I only have two MegaMan RPG games, that's all.

As you may have guessed upon listening to this music, I listen mostly to videogame soundtracks and remixes thereof. [link]
In addition to that, it's only fitting that I like chiptunes as well. [link]
But, I occasionally also listen to more classical-themed music - Though admittedly, I prefer the addition of "electronic" elements to it.

The whole "classical" part is pretty much not appearing in this meme, the only piece is the last one, mixed with a completelly unrelated techno track from a videogame yet again.
Don't ask me why, but these two soundtracks just fit together for smoothe listening to me - regardless of all their disharmony and complete lack of rythm.

c) both of the above

Where to download:
Please don't ask me "where can I download track X", because it's just the same amount of work for me as it would be for you.

Just follow these steps:
1. Look at the music title at the bottom right of the screen.

2. If the title is something like "NG999999", then it's from [link]
You can easily get there, by replacing the number of this link newgrounds.com/audio/listen/999999 with the number of musictitle.
(I forgot to put up the number for Sonic 3 - Icecap Remix, but that's the only link you'll get)

3. If the title has "OCremix" at the end, then go on a google search for this title, and if something like ocremix.org/remix/OCR01460/ comes up, you found it.

4. "Undercurrent" is an excerpt from the just simply over-the-top inspiring time travel puzzle plattforming game "Braid".
I also added the same excerpt in reverse - the music is ment to be played both ways.
You can listen to the entire game's music album here entirely legal for free: [link]

5. 8bitpeoples.com (self explanatory - all music can be downloaded for free)

Don't ask me about any other tracks.
Some of these are from videogames, while others I can't even remember where I got those from.
