Tania Lim beat the hot favourite, Annabel Tan for the 2010 crown. Annabel was most voted for in online public polls and attracted positive media attention even before the finals. Her enthusiastic fans nevertheless still broke out in a roar of cheers when she was announced as the 1st runner up.
