Explaination Behind the v1.5:

Paddle Smash was actually released a few years ago. It had several crippling issues that preventing it from becoming popular. I found it while sorting through my old files, felt a little nostalgia, and decided to fix it up and give it a second chance. Hopefully people will enjoy this game wherever it ends up.

Control the paddle with Arrows or WASD

Pause the game with SPACE

Edit: If you want to play your own music, you can turn off sound on the pause screen.
