Panning Map With Steady Zoom

game

Using the mouse you can click and drag the map within the viewing area. A slider to the right also allows scaling in and out (proportionally!). A minimap is included at the bottom which outlines the view as it exists in the entire map. The proportional zoom is really the big feature of this fla. That means that as the slider moves up, the scale of the map is always consistently growing larger. With normal zooming, the map would actually start to slow in the zooming process as the same scaling at higher scale values have less effect on the resulting size. This example corrects that.
