"Oh heavens!" I can hear you all crying. "These puzzle games just seem like cheap cash-ins for advertising his gallery. What's the point!?"

Yeah, yeah, I empathize with you all. Because on your end, it feels like more of the same thing. But hear me out. Every version of these Flash puzzles becomes more refined than the last, even if you aren't noticing it. These aren't cheap cop-outs, these are sincere artistic endeavors in action scripting, each one pretty much rebuilt from the ground up. Allow me to give some insight.

First off, some of you guys hit a pretty big snag where pieces would seem to disappear or get lost in the clutter. So I added a 'Reset pieces' button which would bring all the unset pieces back to the play space. It's not quite a 'fix' for those issues, but it's definitely an alternative to having to restart from scratch.

Secondly, the black outlines around the pieces are now scripted in. This should make them appear clearer.

Thirdly, when the pieces are all in place, the finished image now shimmers indefinitely. Just a 'I thought it looked cool so it should loop' decision of mine. Also, when the pieces are in place, the framerate after the transition should return back to a manageable number.

Fourth...you now cannot lift or affect pieces after they've been placed. The light 'ripple' effect no longer plays when you click on pieces that are already in place.

The scoring system is now procedural. I no longer have to hard-code each puzzle. This brings me one vital step closer to releasing the .FLA file as a template, thus allowing you guys to make your own puzzles.

This is the ultimate goal, after all; a bug-free, wide open, easy to use template. Just load your own image, either off a website or from your PC, set how many pieces you want, and it generates it for you. Maybe get a server, and let you guys store them, so you can use these puzzles on your own website, Facebook page, deviantArt, or Email.
