So let’s go over the crazy, long-winded process that culminated in this final round’s final product:
- All the artwork aside from text was made with traditional mediums.
- Sketched all the individual panels in the pages of my sketch book.
- Used marker paper to trace and refine each panel, and get a nice watercolor effect with my markers when coloring. I used a paper cutter to cut the larger marker paper sheets into 3”x4.”
- Made the backgrounds from colored paper cut out from larger sheets and painted them in ink and brush. Traditionally inked speech bubbles too.
- Scanned 100+ of these 3”x4” pieces.
- Digitally compiled each panel with background, foreground, and speech bubbles. Saved as PSDs then saved each frame for Flash as JPEGs (so each time a new speech bubbles appeared).
- Worked on this basically every day in the time given in R10. Even took it with me to Florida and inked and colored in the road trip to and from.

So I know I’ve given the maximum amount of effort and time for this round as I could. Being the final round, I wanted it to be no less than my best.

Notes on Part 3 -
• Artemis' words are in angle brackets because unlike Triss and Luna she does not have aura or telepathy to translate for her, so the brackets just imply she's still talking in pokemon when talking to Triss.
• Just as a general thing, since Togekiss are one of the few non-legendary species of pokemon to learn the move Aura Sphere, I imagine they are able to utilize aura for other purposes, such as communicating. Gracidea wasn't aware Triss was able to do this until Round 6, but as you can see their ability to communicate has gotten stronger through the rounds.
• Hopefully you haven't been wondering why Artemis suddenly bursts into flames. In the Anime the move Brave Bird starts in that manner before transitioning into a turquoise aura.
• In case it isn't clear, the strategy Triss was trying for was to exhaust all of Rayquaza's moves, thus forcing him to Struggle, which in-game is the hidden move all pokemon have when they have no more PP for their attacks. Using Struggle also makes the user suffer recoil every time they use it.
So even when Rayquaza ran out of its normal moves, Dante was still forcing it to fight using that desperation move. What a jerk :U

Only one part left! What will happen in the stunning conclusion? bum bum BUUUM :U
