This is the first game I ever made, I believe it gives you a lot of fun.
River Raid was a first scrolling shooter videogame (released in 1982 by Activision for the Atari copmuters, and later for C64, ZX Spectrum, and more platform).
I made this oldschool style game, inspired by shootorial – as remake of this clasic River Raid. Soon I made many changes in game – I’m still learning and believe your comments help improve game.
Like in original the player controls an airplane in a top-down view over a river and gets points for shooting down enemy planes, helicopters, ships etc. By flying over fuel-stations, the plane’s tank can be refilled. You can shift side to side and change the speed of the plane. Sections of the river are marked by bridges.
Now in game are available three modes: clasic, extended and crazy, in future I will add two indyvidual missions and some hidden modes (maybe some form of multiplayer?)
I’m preparing achievement system like in many kongregate games. It will be available soon.
