A beta version of an RPG I am working on for school. Comment and tell me how I can improve

Hey Guys,
after a while of submitting movies I've decided to head down the RPG road. This is simply a beta version and only simulates one level before sending you to the world map. In the world map the only area you can access is Time-Space Continuum. The first level is boring as the characters only have one form of attack but as soon as I finish the next level you'll be able to learn magic.
Story:
Sonic the Hedgehog confronts Doctor Eggman as he attempts to take over Station Square. A quick brawl results in Sonic coming out victorious. However, Eggman activates Chaos Control and sends Sonic far away into time and space. Landing one year into the future, Sonic finds Eggman has conquered the entire world. He reunites with his friends and goes on a great adventure to give Mobius its freedom back.
Please tell me how I can improve the game, so I can get better marks XD.
